KCFRT’S Schools Hearts Competition – The Results & Photos

KCFRT held their first “Schools Hearts Competition” over the week of Valentines Day. 6 local schools took part:

  • Bexton
  • Egerton
  • Manor Park
  • Yorston Lodge
  • St Vincent’s
  • Peover Superior

 We had a great response from pupils who were invited to decorate a wooden heart with the theme “Something Close to my Heart”

The hearts were displayed in the windows of Fine & Country Estate Agents and prizes were donated by Gauntlet Bird of Prey Centre, Seven Sisters Ice Cream Farm and Hal Whittakers

Year 6 Winner Madeline Brown, Yorston Lodge, won a family day pass to Gauntlet Bird of Prey Centre

Year 5 Winner Ruby Wilkins, Yorston Lodge, won a voucher to Seven Sisters Ice Cream Farm

 

Year 4 Winner Molly Denham, Manor Park, won a jewellery making kit

 

 

Highly Commended prizes were awarded to Thomas Gething (Yorston Lodge), Megan Simmons(St Vincent’s) and Katy Wright (Bexton)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A special “Artist’s Choice “ prize was awarded to Alice Hatton (Yorston Lodge)
