Heartbeat Ball review and photos

Guests were welcomed with a bucks fizz reception before enjoying a fun evening with comedian and compère Ted Robbins (of Phoenix Nights fame).

After being confounded by the close up magic of Peter Turner (aka Fusion the Magician), guests then danced into the early hours to DJ Johnnie G.

An auction and a raffle helped to raise £4,000, which will support the ongoing work of the First Responders team; its Hearstart courses, defibrillator provision and heart screening of young people.

Nine Lives Media was filming during the evening for a BBC documentary, highlighting the struggle small charities face in raising vital funds.

Chairman, Sal Thompson said “I am delighted with the evening and the response from our supporters. Thank you to evryone and we will look forward to seeing you next year.”
